Disclaimer & Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 2026

1. Medical & Wellness Disclaimer

The content on nutralyze.health, including AI-generated wellness plans, nutrient library pages, and blog articles, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be taken as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Nothing on this site should replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional — your GP, a registered dietitian, or a pharmacist.
  • Always speak with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, managing a diagnosed health condition, or under 18.
  • Supplement recommendations are general in nature, based on your quiz answers, and are not a substitute for individual clinical assessment (e.g. blood tests).
  • If you are experiencing symptoms that concern you, please seek medical attention rather than relying on this site.

2. AI-Generated Content

Your 30-day wellness plan is generated using an AI language model (Anthropic Claude) based on the information you provide in the quiz. While the underlying nutritional guidance is grounded in published research and recognised health authorities (NHS, NIH, EFSA, and similar sources), the specific wording of your plan is generated automatically and is not reviewed by a human clinician before being shown to you. Treat it as a well-informed starting point, not a clinical judgement.

Under Article 22 of UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to express your point of view and request human review of any automated recommendation generated by our AI. To exercise this right, contact us at privacy@nutralyze.health.

3. EU & UK Health Claims Compliance

All health-related statements on this site relating to specific nutrients are limited to claims authorised under EU Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims, as assessed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). We do not claim that any nutrient or supplement can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Where a nutrient does not have an EFSA-authorised claim (for example, CoQ10), we say so explicitly rather than implying an effect that has not been formally assessed.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

Nutralyze participates in affiliate marketing programmes, including:

  • Amazon Associates (UK) — as an Amazon Associate, Nutralyze earns from qualifying purchases
  • Awin — including Holland & Barrett (Ireland) and other health & wellness brands
  • iHerb (pending approval)

When you click certain product links on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Product recommendations are based on nutritional relevance to your profile. Affiliate relationships do not influence which nutrients we recommend — only which specific product we link to for convenience. We disclose this wherever affiliate links appear, not only on this page.

5. Who We Are (Data Controller)

Nutralyze (“we,” “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected via nutralyze.health, operated as a sole trader.

Quiz answers about your health, diet, and lifestyle are treated as health-related data under GDPR Article 9 (“special category data”). This requires your explicit, informed consent, given before you start the quiz — via a clearly worded opt-in checkbox, not pre-ticked, not bundled with other terms.

7. Our Legal Basis for Processing

  • Quiz answers (special category / health-related data): Explicit consent under GDPR Article 9(2)(a), collected via a clear opt-in checkbox before the quiz begins.
  • Sending you the plan by email: Consent and/or performance of your explicit request.
  • Further marketing emails: Separate, specific consent under UK PECR / EU ePrivacy rules. We ask for clear, affirmative opt-in consent for ongoing emails, separate from plan-delivery consent. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Basic technical/security logs: Legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning.

You may withdraw consent at any time — see Section 10.

8. Who We Share Data With

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate Nutralyze. We do not sell your data.

  • Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your quiz answers to generate your wellness plan. Anthropic is based in the United States; transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / UK IDTA, per Anthropic’s data processing terms).
  • Resend — delivers plan and marketing emails on our behalf.
  • Neon (Postgres database) — stores lead and quiz data. Hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) region to keep data within the EU.
  • Vercel — hosts the quiz application.

Each provider is contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and to appropriate security standards.

9. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain quiz answers and lead data for 24 months from your last interaction (last site visit or email open), or until you request deletion — whichever comes first.

If you withdraw consent or request erasure, we will delete or fully anonymise your data within 30 days.

Records of marketing unsubscribes are retained indefinitely in encrypted form to ensure we do not contact you again — this is itself a legal obligation, not a choice.

10. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Object to or request human review of automated decisions — you have the right to express your point of view and contest any automated recommendation generated by our AI
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails instantly via the link in every email

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@nutralyze.health. We will respond within one month as required by law.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to:

  • The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)ico.org.uk — for users in the UK
  • The Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, Cyprusdataprotection.gov.cy — for users in Cyprus and the EU

11. Cookies

We use only essential technical cookies required for the quiz to function (for example, preserving your answers as you move between questions). We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We plan to add Google Analytics in the future to understand site usage. When this is implemented, we will update this section and, where required under EU ePrivacy rules, add a cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.

12. Children

Nutralyze is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@nutralyze.health so we can delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Notice

We may update this page from time to time as our practices or the law change. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
